Lucie is a West Yorkshire based theatre maker currently working as a writer, choreographer and movement director.
In 2023 Lucie graduated from Leeds Conservatoire MA Musical Theatre (Creative) program with Distinction. Coming from a dance background, Lucie ran a private performing arts academy for 20 years before making the leap into professional theatre.
During this time she choreographed dozens of medium and large scale community theatre projects at venues such as Wakefield Theatre Royal, Bradford St. George’s Hall and Leeds Carriageworks, as well as in High Schools and Colleges.
Following graduation Lucie chose to focus on creating original theatre, but her work retains its natural kineticism with a sense of form and motion. But what motivates Lucie above all is engaging an audience in the heart of a story, and the magic of live theatre. Lucie enjoys connecting with other creatives to make new exciting work and is currently working under a DYCP grant from Arts Council England to develop her practice as a Movement Director. Expanding her skill set through shadowing and training opportunities.

Lucie’s graduate show “The Flood”, a musical based on 2015 floods in Hebden Bridge, premiered at the Leeds Theatre Festival 2023 and has since gone into development through Leeds Playhouse with the hope of a Northern Tour late 2024.
She is also currently writing Mikron Theatre Company’s 2025 touring show, having won the commission as part of their new writer’s scheme.
In addition, Lucie has written several Christmas Shows for local charity DAG including “Christmas at Crumbly Edge” and “Christmas Crackers”.
